Showmans Fairground Steam EngineDesigned for fairground use these magnificent machines supplied electricity from a dynamo mounted at the front and also carried a chimney extension for use when stationary.
The kit is constructed out of high quality metal alloy and comes complete with detailed instructions, full exploded diagrams and photoghraphs showing stage by stage assembly. The kit comes complete with lettering, photo etched logos, rubber wheels and lining transfers and can be completed with two part epoxy or superglue or a combination of both. There are 168 seperate castings and the kit is classed as suitable for advanced modellers although with the detailed instructions it can be viewed as several small sub assemblies being brought together into one finished item.
The finished kit is just over 6 inches long and weighs nearly one and half pounds. It comes packaged in a stout box with a colour picture showing the finished model.
Construction falls into basic assembly sequences and following the plans should ensure success. Designed to 1/32 scale the finished model will complement Gauge One or 3/8" to the foot railway loyouts.
The finished model, which is designed to be of museum quality incorporating every possible detail, will have a real investment value.
