This kit is a combined kit that allows you to build either the 1962 stack pipe or the 1963 low exhaust model. The B.R.M. was fitted with the Coventry Climax engine and had wins both at Goodwood and Silverstone.

1963 Lotus 25
Lotus 25

The Lotus 25 revolutionized Formula 1 car design. It was a complete break from conventional thinking and Colin Chapman said the inspiration came from the steel backbone frame of the new Lotus Elan and the improved stiffness it gave. 
Although the Lotus 25 was not the first monocoque single-seater racing car, it was the first to prove the efficacy of monocoque design in Grand Prix racing.
